Chris Bowman is a self instructed artist born in Calgary, Alberta.  His family moved to Sumatra in 1984, and in this same year, at age three, he started painting. 

Art became a way of comprehending and expressing the ever changing world around him as he spent the next four years traveling from Tokyo to Bali and everywhere in between.
