STEVE DANIELS
Temple Jars

Eugene artist, Steve Daniels, has been making high-fired stoneware since 1994.  Recently, Steve has been working with the form and design of Temple Jars.  He has also developed the patina-like glaze which is accomplished by using a long gas kiln firing, giving the jars an antique quality.

Temple Jars are attractive place to store keepsakes, yet also practical to be used in the kitchen as a sugar or garlic container.  Additionally, Temple Jars have often been used in altars.

Steve is a member of the Oregon Potter’s Association and an exhibiting member of the Association of Ceramic and Glass Artists in California.
