Idaho artist, Nancy Hoyt, begins her design work by transferring a sketched design to wax or metal, depending if the piece will be hand carved and lost wax cast, or fabricated.  (Many of her pieces are a combination of both casting and fabrication processes).  

14 and 18 karat gold and sterling silver are used in Nancy‘s pieces which are purchased from refiners and jewelry supply houses.  Gemstones are purchased from gem dealers and cutters.
