Our Town Pottery 

Using red earthenware clay, Michael Baines creates wheel thrown pieces such as platters, plates, and bowls.  Jeani, on the other hand, slab forms functional trays and discs using found objects as molds.
 

In their Elmira, Oregon studio, Michael and Jeani collaborate on the paint designs that are inspired by beadwork, folk art, and nature. Jeani then hand paints, dots and slip trails each piece with colorful under glazes and glazes.
