The art of Pre-Columbian Native Americans and other ancient cultures from around the world have been a strong influence on Kenneth’s work. 
 

In particular, he is drawn to primitive vessels that were created by pressing clay onto the interior surface of a basket.  The interior pattern of the basket became the exterior surface of the vessel. This method provided three strong elements: form, pattern, and texture which are now the focus of Kenneth’s work.
